We turn people power into public policy. As a joint venture of the National Basketball Association (NBA), National Basketball Players Association (NBPA), and National Basketball Coaches Association (NBCA), we advance bipartisan social justice policy in 4 issue areas across our communities.

1 in 3 Americans has a criminal record, which can result in over 40K barriers limiting access to jobs, housing, education, voting, rights, and opportunities.

46,000 Americans die from gun violence every year—an average of over 125 lives lost per day. This is a public health epidemic that disproportionately impacts youth of color

In any given U.S. election, 1 in 3 eligible voters doesn’t cast a ballot. Less than half of young people ages 18-29 voted in the 2024 election.
